R15's nightmare : the new TVS Apache RTR 180 Menace is here

The long awaited TVS Apache RTR 180 Menace is here. According to www.bhp-india.blogspot.com, TVS has leaked the TV commercial for the 180cc RTR Menace and oh boy, does she look hot!
Though there are just a few changes to the body, the white color really looks hot. What however is more important is the engine - 180cc and 17.3PS of power.

The RTR 160 already ran close to the R15 in terms of performance, and well, we think, the new 180 Menace will easily out perform the R15 in acceleration and yes, on the track too.

See this video of the new TVS Apache RTR 180 Menace, and yes, enjoy!!

No liquid cooling, no mono shock suspension.

Also doubts about 4 valves and 6 speed gear box. It will definitely weigh in more than the R15.

Just an increase in cubic capacity. That is a no brainer. Even with 17 and odd bhp it will not match an R15 on the race track.

1)Torque is comparatively less than the R15.

2)Just air cooled and not liquid cooled, hence less comparitively less performance than the R15.
3) Already Apache is known for vibrations,( dont know about this bike), R15 has single axis cylinder to reduce engine vibrations.
4) Definitely weighs more than R15.

Oh guys, where the all new RTR 180 can be compared with the fastest bikes like KORIZMA and PULSAR 220, some of you said that R15 is better than it? Did you drive it? If not pls do that first. I've a RTR 180 and believe me the power of it's is unbelievable. What do you say about the former experience of RTR 160? RTR 160 gave us something more than that of expected. Now everyone know that RTR 160 is enough to left R15 behind. So no doubt that RTR 180 is much more wonderful than R15.
Now come to the point of vibration. I can challenge that in this case, TVS improved itself. In older days the experience of Apache 150cc version disappointed us by giving a vibration, but now it is resolved. However we can't blame TVS for this because it was a first attempt. TVS is in his infancy in case of sports bike. So we are expecting a greater develop.
At the end, I must say that there are some good working extra parts in R15. But who cares, RTR give us the value for money. There are a huge difference between the price of RTR and R15. I hope TVS will develop its technologies of this bike in coming days and we are waiting for that.

Apache RTR 180 can no doubt beat r15 in much less cost than r15 , Apache RTR 180 is much more stronger than r15 in maintenance also

R15 is any day a better bike, provided u can afford an extra 30000 rupees. It doesn't just roll, but glides on the road, after 70kmph. Also mindblowing stability and agility in turns. Sitting position is very comfortable as they've made sure the thighs are at ryt angle with knees when sitting. R15 is the way to go.
